Task 3 - Selecting model, incorporation into a real life background and adding scale

The next stage is to select and photograph one of the models using a black background (so it is easier to manipulate in Photoshop).

The 5 model images are then incorporated to make 5 photomontages that must contain:

1. A real life background
2. The model
3. Human scale, people and paraphernalia

All 5 images are then presented on x1 A1 sheet of paper.
The most interesting image is then mounted on a separate A1 sheet.

As in the previous tasks the models can be 'cut' out from the image and inserted into the photomontage.

Here is an example of an image being adjusted:

Below is the finished photomontage:

And here is the selected image that has been enlarged. In photoshop extra water has been added to the image by cutting out and pasting extra layers which have then been merged together.

Task 2 - Photomontage

After taking images of each spatial model (Planar, Perforated, Interlocking and Fluid) the next task was to make x4 A1 Photomontages, (in other words x1 A1 sheet for each idea).

The images are then used to make a composition exploring each idea.

Here are the finished results:

Class ENVT 0031

Due to personal circumstances I am having to complete the class ENVT 0031 over the summer.

This class requires 5 tasks to be completed:

1. - Set up a blog.
2. - Make 4 models each using A3 paper and taking 5 minutes to create. The models are to have the following characteristics: Planar, Perforated, Interlocking and Fluid. Each model is to be photographed and presented on an A1 sheet.
3. - Select one model and take 5 photographs which must contain a real life background, the model and human scale. These images are then to be presented on an A1 sheet with the most interesting to be mounted on another A1 sheet.
4. - Using the selected image a night time lighting version of the image must be made.
5. -  Final task is to create a garden using Sketchup. From this an axonometric, isometric and three eye level black and white line drawing sketch perspectives are to be made. After this they are to be imported into Photoshop, coloured in using the brush and bucket tools and human scale added.
